Marielle Pérez, M.S., CCC-SLP

A graduate of Carlos Albizu University, San Juan Campus, in 2008, Marielle began her professional career in 1998 and has over 22 years of experience in the field of communication.

Marielle has dedicated much of her clinical practice to hospital settings, specializing in the evaluation and treatment of dysphagia and adult language disorders. Her participation in multidisciplinary teams in stroke units, intensive care, and, more recently, COVID-19 units has provided her with extensive experience managing patients with conditions such as strokes, aspiration pneumonia, respiratory conditions, post-extubation, dementia, neuromuscular diseases, and cancer.

She is the recipient of the prestigious “ACE Award” granted by ASHA, recognizing her ongoing commitment to education in her areas of specialty. Ms. Pérez stands out for her dedication to her patients, maintaining high ethical and professional standards in her practice.
